I'm still alive
Well, I am quite proud of me, I finally managed to create my own little blog. I even remembered some of the things I learnt about HTML-writing at university - amazing! As Dana said, every single second a new blog is created and this seems to be my "second of glory"!
People keep telling me that they have not heard from me for ages and that they do not even know in which country I am living at the moment. Right, I am a bit lazy and often forget to answer e-mails (sorry everyone), but I do not do it on purpose, I promise ;-) At least I managed to send some mails during my stay in Ireland, didn't I?
But I thought this might be a good way of keeping in touch with all of you. So hello world - here I am!
I decided to write in English, as some of my friends abroad might find it a bit difficult to look up every single word in their German-English dictionary, if they have one! As I study English literature and linguistics and most of my friends here in Bamberg do so as well, I am very confident that they will manage to understand the posts. And all the others had at least 9 years of English at school, so they should manage as well! Every now and then I will include some "mistakes" for you to find, just to check if you read the posts! Of course you can write your comments in whatever language you like, but please use one of the two I understand properly: English or German!
Don't hesitate to leave some comments, so I can have a laugh as well!
Yours
Nadja

Unless you are moderating comments, I have the honour to open the comment session on your blog. I hope people will be a bit more eager on your blog than on my own;-) Well, I don't complain.
To be honest I didn't really understand the remark that you will hide mistakes. It it to check our English or are you talking about contents?
But welcome in the blog world anyway. I'm a bit short of time these days but I'll be back in Germany in a little less than 4 weeks.
CU then
Well, you are moderating comments as I found out...;-)
Damn it, it is not me. Moderating or not, I am still not the first one, so I have to live with it. Ok, ok, since Christian has a nice blog as well, I will forgive him.
Nadja, great for deciding to do this too, now I can expand my list of blog links :-) And I will try to bring as many comments as I can, especially language-related if you insist. I mean, I check up Christian's language too, no? ;-)
take care and keep posting.
Dxxx
I was sure Christian would be the first, as I sent the mail with the link last night and considering the time shift, he was probably the first to read it!
Don't worry, I will not check YOUR English, as most of you know this language way better than I am. But I am quite confident that I will include quite a lot of spelling/grammar mistakes and my friends here in Bamberg will probably laugh their heads off and might even tell my professors (please don't, this is embarrassing enough already). Thanks to Dana I managed at least these stupid Conditionals - I am quite proud of me, but there are other things I will never properly understand - well, who cares (apart from the people who will correct my stuff at university!)
I am very pleased you have chosen english!!!
i promise i won't corect anything! as i can't spell even if i speak english 100% of the time!
glad you are well
love jess
Hey Jess,
I guess I still have a very old e-mail address of yours and I am also lacking Angi's and Julie's new one. Could you give them to me? Thanks
Hope you are well, too!
